2011 portrait a day challenge

So I know I’ve been slacking a bit on the daily self-portrait thing.  Part of it was work just draining me and part was waiting for inspiration.  So here was an inspiration…  The first day that the heat was not on and I didn’t need to put on long pants and a real shirt in evening.  There ought to be some special name for that day that signals summer is really here.  And yes I’m at the computer.  But summer is here and wearing shorts all day trumps all.

Another check list nearly ready to be retired as we near opening…  I know, very analog, but it suits me for this stuff.  And there is something way more satisfying about starting with a fresh yellow pad than there is about right-mouse>new>folder>click.

Part of the fun of big projects is figuring out what you are going to do afterward…

Darn!  The whole weekend just blew by without getting a pic in!  The nice weather really cuts into that whole hanging out with the computer thing…  That’s good I suspect.

Marathon Lightroom session today.  Hopefully this condition won’t persist…  Or finding gloves is going to be tough! 

You little bastards!  Come up and fight fair!  Argghh, I have a taste of cold steel waiting for you…  OK, Gophers drive me nuts, especially when a section of fence falls over from their tunneling around the post!

The weather SUCKS! But I’m changing tactics; no more of that cursing the skies stuff. Didn’t work out so well last time…

It’s a consistant quandry.  Go with the tool you know or find the right one for the job?
